Opening an entire salon on a shoestring budget is a huge challenge. When our client signed the lease to this commercial space, the floors looked exactly like they do in these photos. The floors are a post-tension concrete slab (a floor you need to be very careful not to puncture). The rebar was marked out in spray paint, marking the location of the vulnerable rebar. Influence Salon was a new business which hadn’t yet created their branding.
We decided to keep the existing floor + match the branding to the bright orange spray paint marking on the floor. This meant keeping the flooring in place, protecting it with a clear coat only. We simultaneously kept the flooring cost down + provided an aesthetic brand for the business.
We love working with clients that appreciate great design + modern architecture. If that sounds like you, let’s talk.
