This was a project for a past Client who's since become a friend - but as a remodel, it was not without its challenges. The house was part sprawling ranch, part 1980's mistake. We worked closely w/ the Client + Contractor to exemplify the good features, + conceal the ugly ones. We used very basic architectural principles in the remodel of this home. North facing windows connect the Entry to the newly landscaped front yard.
We designed retractable sliding door systems so the interior spaces were better connected to the pool. The pool overlooks a golf course. This was a view we definitely wanted to capitalize on so the pool was re-clad in a minimalist style as to not distract from the beautiful setting. We also planned a spiral staircase for the Pool House which accesses a walk-out wine cellar.
We love working with clients that appreciate great design + modern architecture. If that sounds like you, let’s talk.
